An(drew) is a multi-disciplinary designer and artist working on projects in theater, opera, dance and live events, as well as film/tv and commercial spaces. He has been nominated for and won multiple national and regional awards and designed over 200 productions across the country and internationally during his eclectic and dynamic career.
Andrew received his B.A. from Middlebury College with a degree in architecture, and his M.F.A. from Yale School of Drama. He has participated in the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, USITT, is representative for the Central Region of Local829 and is a member of the Wingspace Design Collective. From 2011-15, he taught in the Design Department at the Yale School of Drama and during the 2014-15 academic year, he taught at Ithaca College. He has been teaching at Northwestern University since 2015.
Andrew is the founder and partner of the design and production studio @casaboyce with Adrianna Desier Durant.
He is based in Chicago, was raised in Berkely, California, and came of age in Brooklyn.
